In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of top food delivery apps in Egypt showed varying trends in downloads and active users. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at how these apps fared on a unified platform.

talabat: Food, grocery & more experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting with 83K at the beginning of July and peaking at 99K mid-July. By the end of September, downloads had stabilized around 74K. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users ranging from 4.2M to 4.7M throughout the quarter.

Breadfast: Groceries And More saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 29K and reaching as high as 63K by the end of September. Active users also demonstrated growth, with figures climbing from 597K to approximately 764K.

instashop: Groceries & more showed a moderate variation in weekly downloads, beginning with 18K and ending the quarter at around 18K. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 535K throughout the period.

Rabbit: 20 mins delivery experienced a slight decline in downloads, from 9.6K to 8.4K by the end of September. However, weekly active users showed a downward trend from 119K to 104K during the same period.

Finally, Keeta - Food Delivery had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2K and reaching 7.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 17K to 31K.
